What is Pilates?

Pilates is a series of exercises that focus on posture, strength, muscle tone, balance and flexibility. The main emphasis is on the stabilising muscles of the back and core whist working with controlled breathing. The concentration and control of each exercise and breath is also a fabulous way to relax and focus the mind.

Pilates can be done on a mat with your own body weight to provide resistance or with the addition of small equipment such as stability balls, bands and Pilates rings.

Our online classes are suitable for everyone, with a range of classes from beginner to advanced. You can access your account and the videos from anywhere in the world, 24/7, from any computer and mobile device including mobile phones, IPads, Laptops, PC’s and Smart TV.

Does my subscription automatically renew?

All memberships, monthly and yearly, are recurring subscriptions and automatically renew at the end of each period. Memberships can be cancelled anytime and will not renew at the end of their term.

Happy & Healthy with Lorraine is all about making Pilates affordable and accessible to everybody. Our online classes are available for as little as £7.50 a month (annual subscription) which is less than £1.75 per week.

How long are the classes?

Our sessions range from short 15 minutes fix, to hour long full classes. There is so much variety and the beauty is that you can pick your class each time you log on. You can mix and match the workouts to customise your own sessions and add on relaxation sessions too. We also have classes that incorporate small apparatus such as resistance bands, Pilates rings and exercise balls.
