After having a prolapsed disc operated on last year I was signed up by ‘The Wife’ for Lorraine’s 10 week course with the aim to improve my core fitness, movement and flexibility.
Being a Clay Target shooter of a fairly decent standard I was struggling after my operation due to my lack of core fitness and freedom of rotation, causing me to miss targets, get frustrated and lose the passion for the sport.
After completing the course with Lorraine at home, and continuing Pilates on-line, my shooting has improved dramatically. My scores are now better than they were prior to my operation and I’m enjoying being back at the highest level. I can put this down to Pilates, relaxation and breathing techniques.
